Nevada City Inn is located close to everything in the northern California Gold Rush area as well as services, eateries, historical monuments, state parks, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful. Grounds are lovingly pruned and appointed. It is a darling little motor inn. We'd definitely stay there again.
They could spend a little money to replace faded window treatments and maybe even carpeting.

The staff at Nevada City Inn were very friendly and especially helpful. the location was peaceful and just a short walk to a brewery, local grocery store, and several restaurants. - the inn was conveniently situated only 1 mile from Pioneer Park.

Our room was between two rooms, and had very thin walls separating these rooms. We could hear the drunken party, that was happening next door, until well after midnight, which prevented us from getting much sleep. We suggest they establish a quiet hour (say 10:00 PM) so other quests could sleep. Other than that, on a scale of 1 thru 10 we would give, room 27, a 2. Maybe some of the cottages without ajoining rooms would be better.
